The answer was yes. The free rat, occasionally hearing distress calls from its compatriot, learned to open the cage and did so with greater efficiency over time. It would release the other animal even if there wasn’t the payoff of a reunion with it. Astonishingly, if given access to a small hoard of chocolate chips, the free rat would usually save at least one treat for the captive — which is a lot to expect of a rat.   2. A sketch for my hetalia OC for the former Empire of Joseon. Technically she would be South and North Korea’s mother, because this makes far more sense then Korea suddenly splitting into two. Honestly, the simplest explanation is usually the best one.  SK and NK’s came from the marriage with Mongolia. It happened. Look that shit up. I need to draw Mogo-Joso art one day. I do like drawing Joseon, though. That nose.

  9. My old “fursonae”, a bear dog. Which my friend informed me later is an ancient animal, since bears and dogs share a common ancestor. Interesting~. In the meantime, I picked this hybrid because I have attributes of both animals of course. I’ve always liked this rendition the most.
